Please join us in welcoming Fred to the Collaborative OPen Omics (COPO) team!
Fred joined us as a Senior Developer on 2nd November, 2026 and brings experience in software development and working with data-driven systems. He will be building the Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA) validation framework, designing the technology stack and investigating Docker-based templates to support metadata downloads from Zenodo and the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA).
In addition, Fred will be developing spreadsheet templates for the ARIA Technical Area 1 (TA1) project groups based on the Minimum Information About a Plant Phenotyping Experiment (MIAPPE) standard and helping to establish the development environment of the COPO project.
We are thrilled to have him with us and look forward to what we can accomplish together.
